North Point Lighthouse
A few years after the North Point Lighthouse was built, trees began blocking the view of the 39-foot tower. The light was raised another 32 feet in 1912, by setting the old cast-iron tower atop a new steel base. With a focal plane 154 feet above the lake, the light atop the new tower was visible from 21 out on the lake.
